How much do your services cost?

Our service fees vary depending on the type of document and the service required. Please contact us directly for a detailed quote based on your specific needs. We strive to offer competitive and transparent pricing.

Will you come to me?

Yes, YAP Notary Services offers mobile notarization within the Los Angeles, California area. We can travel to your home, office, or other convenient location. Travel fees may apply.

Do you do out-of-state notarization?

As a Missouri Notary Public, we can only notarize documents within the state of Missouri. However, documents notarized in Missouri can often be used in other states or countries, depending on their legal requirements.

What information is most helpful to know before booking an appointment?

Before booking, it's helpful to know what documents need to be notarized, the number of pages, and if there are any specific instructions from the receiving party. This helps us ensure we allocate enough time for your appointment.

What documents need to be notarized and how many pages?

Please let us know the type of document (e.g., deed, affidavit, power of attorney) and the number of pages requiring notarization when you book your appointment. This allows us to prepare accordingly.

What type of identification is required?

For notarization, you must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport. We cannot accept expired identification.

Are there specific documents that cause confusion?

Affidavits and Jurats often lead to questions. For affidavits, the signer attests to the truth of the document's content under oath. For Jurats, the signer swears to the truth of the document's contents and signs in the notary's presence. We are here to guide you through these processes.

Why must identification be valid (not expired)?

Missouri notary law mandates that identification presented for notarization must be current and unexpired. This is crucial for verifying the signer's identity and preventing fraud. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with notarization if your ID is expired.
